Alexandra Raisman

Aly Raisman was an American female gymnast, and captain of The US women's Olympic gymnastics 2012 Fierce Five team and in the year 2016. In 2016, she was part of the Final Five. Aly Raisman was awarded three gold medals during the 2012 Olympics which took place in London. In addition, she took home a bronze on the balance beam. She became an the only American gymnast to compete at the Olympics with the highest number of medals. The year she was in 2016, along with her teammate Gabby Doug were among the first Americans who won back-toback golds in team events. Additionally, she was awarded silver medals at the all-around event and floor exercises. In the three years between the two Olympics, she took a break. In addition, she was part of two world championship gold winning teams. When she was just 2 when she started to study gymnastics. The sport she loves the most is floor exercises. Aly has enrolled in the Uniting Against Lung Cancer group to honor her late grandma. Aly plans on pursuing an occupation in fashion and is looking to increase her signature line of leotards as well as socks in the future. Fierce, a new book she's working on, will be released sometime in the coming year.
